What do slot RTP and volatility mean?
Two numbers that describe how a slot pays, and what they can't tell you.

SHORT ANSWER
RTP is the theoretical percentage of bets returned over the long run. Volatility describes how large and how frequent wins are. Neither predicts your session, and no strategy removes the house edge.
What is RTP?
RTP, or return to player, is a theoretical average over a very large number of spins. An RTP of 96% means an average of RM96 returned per RM100 wagered across all players. The remaining 4% is the house edge. In a single session, your result can differ widely.
What is volatility?
| Volatility | General pattern | Effect on balance |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Small wins more often | Balance moves slowly |
| Medium | A mix of small and medium wins | Moderate swings |
| High | Rare large wins | Balance can run out quickly |
Can a strategy beat slots?
No. Slot spins are independent of each other, so betting systems, time of day or "hot machines" don't change the odds. The only useful strategy is cost control: choose a bet size that suits your budget and set a limit.
